Description

Grown and milled on a Regenerative Organic Certified second generation family farm in Pleasant Grove, California. Beginning with 45 acres of Organic popcorn in 1985, the 3,000 acre farm has been fully converted to Organic since 1996. The farmer performs ongoing research aimed at improving yields and reducing inputs associated with growing Organic field crops.

Popcorn is a low calorie, whole grain snack loaded with fiber that can be enjoyed alone or as a means for exploring a variety of added-on favors.

Delicious alternative ways to enjoy it is with a light coating of virgin coconut oil sprinkled with Organic nutritional yeast. Or try a mist of olive oil with nutritional yeast and Vitamineral Green. Or add herbs (basil, rosemary, or tarragon) with a spray of tamari.

Popcorn can become a more nutritious snack by adding shredded cheese, nuts, pumpkin seeds, nori flakes, or toasted sesame seeds. On the sweet side, sprinkle with butter and maple sugar, maple syrup, date sugar, or coconut sugar, and add pecans or roasted almonds.

Our Regenerative Organic white popcorn tends to yield mushroom-shaped kernels when popped and has a slightly sweet taste.
