Description
Tall regal Brazil nut trees grow wild in the western Amazonian Rain Forest, in an area that covers portions of Brazil, Bolivia, and Peru. Our source works with JungleKeepers to conserve threatened habitat in the vitally important Madre de Dios region of the Peruvian Amazon.
A staple of native Amazonians, Brazil nuts are an excellent source of B-complex vitamins and a good source of vitamin E and selenium.
Enjoy our shelled Brazil nuts alone; or chop and add to puddings, fruitcakes, or brownies; or sprinkle over soup, meat, salad or veggie dishes.
The industry-standard processing procedures warm this nut above the allowable standards of some raw food enthusiasts.
