Meet your new kitchen secret weapon: Jalapeño Hot Honey
This simple, punchy condiment is wildly versatile—sweet at first, then gently (or boldly) spicy—and instantly upgrades everything it touches. Drizzle it on pizza, fried chicken, roasted veggies, biscuits, cornbread, cheese boards, or even use it to sweeten cocktails and marinades. Best part? It takes about 10 minutes and zero fancy equipment—Simple Jalapeño Hot Honey.
Ingredients
-
1 lb Clover Honey
-
2-3 Organic Jalapeño Peppers
-
1 Tbsp Organic Apple Cider Vinegar (optional)
Directions
Add pure honey and thin jalapeño slices to a clean dry jar.
Stir in Apple Cider Vinegar if your wanting more tangy zing.
Stir to be sure all peppers are below the surface of the honey. Remove the lid and taste test after a day or two.
The honey will get thinner. Strain out peppers (or leave them in for extra heat). When you are happy with the it store in the refrigerator.
