This summer has been a busy one. In July, we had the chance to welcome a new intern, Conner M., to our place for a month of fun & games. He was included in our all-company weekly meetings we call the Great Game of Business, or GGOB for short. We shared with him that fun is a key performance indicator at Hummingbird. We gave him the task of creating a few videos for us. So he got right to work.
He started with a sweet "LOVE Bulk" video where we featured the fun and process of bringing in your own containers to buy pantry ingredients from the bulk bins - and showcased the Main St Market in Springfield.
The second video was adding to our video of one of our bee keepers, Nick Van Calcar, and his bees, from pollination to honey extraction.
And lastly, we wanted Connor to capture some fun behind the scenes clips of what we do everyday here at Hummingbird. He scheduled visits with the Production team, Customer Service team, and the Warehouse & Logistics team to get action clips during work sessions. Connor's internship was a wonderful success.
