Flour, Buckwheat - Locally-Milled Product
Our Buckwheat Flour was grown in Washington, and stone ground at Camas Country Mill in Eugene.
A great source of manganese and a good source of magnesium, dietary fiber, and phosphorus, buckwheat is a fruit seed related to rhubarb and sorrel. Buckwheat protein contains all eight essential amino acids, including lysine.
The flour is ivory white with black specs from ground hull fragments. Use buckwheat flour as a replacement in recipes calling for wheat flour like crepes or pancakes.
Store buckwheat flour in an airtight container and refrigerated to keep fresh for several months.
